Change in copper life span
Tue, 02/09/2010 - 17:22 — eric@occuraflo.netMy decision to specialize in this field was promted by my experiece as a plumber. Going out on slab leak calls and plumbing repair calls, I began to realize that every street in Orange County has a growing problem of copper pipe failure. In the begging we saw a trend or target market in homes thirty years old having the majority of slab leaks and pinhole leaks. Within a year I noticed the trend shifting to newer homes, about 15 to 20 years old. For three or four years now our focus has been a target of homes or properties 12 to 15 years old. Now I have some exciting news; last week I visited a community in Newport Coast that is only five years old and is already experiencing rapidly accelerating copper pipe corrosion and pinhole leaks. This community is Proof that this problem is accererating and happening more so on newer communities. More proof that Dr. Mark Edwards is right, it is a chemical reation- "chloramines" eating away at our copper pipes that were once believed to, "last forever".
Facts are facts, like it or not we got a real problem... in our pipes and in our water!
Curapoxy is without a doubt, the cure.
